Transylvania Spirits is a family distillery rooted in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. Rares, who crafts our Transylvania Spirits, spent his childhood summers in the Romanian countryside. Here, he collected water from the well and climbed trees to pick the fruit of the ancient orchard, from which his grandmother would make fruit brandies. His aunts continued crafting the drinks they called their 'daily medicine'. Now Rares is passing this tradition on to his daughter. She brings experience in the hospitality business and has worked in some of Sydney's key bars. Together, they bring Transylvania Spirits from ancient orchards to modern glass.
